EP «No Never»
After coffee is like before coffee.
The debut EP is an experiment to depict being lost in thought with music. We hoped that our own thoughts would begin to flow like coffee from a mocha pot. For this reason we replaced the coffee in the moka pot with a ball of wool… So far, we have not succeeded in this experiment. That’s why we say “No Never” to it.
Each of the four songs on the EP is dedicated to a specific jumble of thoughts. For a long time we fiddled in the rehearsal room, finally the songs are there.
Special: The music video for the title track “No Never” will be released after the EP release.
Single «Monkey Brain»
The song “Monkey Brain” is like slow food but slow groove. Attention: A melancholic-relaxed mood is the best case as result after listening. A focus on the problem areas of the world, which is worth thinking about, is also possible after listening.
We already have released a live-session-video of Monkey Brain in trio.
Airplays
The Single «Oblivion» was released in May 2022. Oblivion got airplays at national Swiss radio stations (RSI Rete Tre and RTR) as well as some local radio stations.
About
Trumpet-melodies, which suddenly repeated themselves always in the same way mainly on mondays, is the origin of MAGIC MONDAY. The growing pop music collection of the trumpeter was soon developed into an independent sound in trio formation. The soul singer (Sara Di Caro), the trumpet player (Roger Egli) and the outstanding guitar player (Anatole Buccella) got along musically very well from the first rehersal. A young drummer (Alon Ben) was part of our band during our first studio session too. Bandbio of this new Swiss pop band is to be continued…

Other Credits: The EP “No Never” was recorded by the sound engineer Lukus Rutzen, who is performing with Omni Selassi. Beni Stoll is one of the original names, who has been producing in times of and for Wurzel 5. He helped us to produce.
